Indicator lights Replacement – Neutral, High Beam, Turnsignal
The speedo and tach require you to remove housings before getting at the bulbs. The three indicator lights on the triple tree only require small fingers or needle nose pliers. Just pull the black rubber thing straight down and it will release. The bulb can then be popped out of the rubber housing. When putting it back, be sure you get it all the way in... you should feel a slight snap or pop when it is seated completely.
The bulbs are a "Blade" style bulb rated at 12V3W.

Pipes
First 3 would be the most popular choices
a. Vance & Hines- Nicely finished, good chrome, pleasant throaty sound
b. Cobra- nice pipes, welds a little less finished the V&H, sound not as throaty as V&H, decent chrome, not as durable as V & H.
c. Modify your stock pipes- http://www.magnaownersoftexas.com/tips.htm#A1.3
d. Hard Chrome
e. SuperTrapps- decent chrome, diffusion discs allow tuneability
f. Jardine drag pipes- decent chrome, LOUD

Progressive Spring
Spacer pipe cut from 1" PVC thick wall pipe
a. Stock Spacer Length 5.12 inches
b. Aggressive progressive spacer length 5.35 inches (I did mine at 5.50" and love it)
Foot Note - longer the spacer the more preload on your springs - stiffer the front end - less dive

Risers
a. Cycle-istic- Magna specific, strong supporters of Magnas, good looking risers, polished Bullitt finish.
b. Aeromach- Magna specific, nice chrome finish, work well
c. Shadow 750- inexpensive alternate
Saddlebags
a. Leatherlyke- Magna specific, lockable, good water seal, easy on/off, looks good (not as good looking as real leather bags).
b. Real leather- Looks,(doesn't get any better than leather), somewhat poor water seals, normally not lockable, look for quick disconnect closure, can be more difficult on/off bike, probably need bag support brackets.
c. Leatherneck Jims http://www.leatherneckjim.com/?200
Seats
Most like/buy;
1. Mustang - Most comfortable and looks, a must for 2 up
2. Corbin - Sportier looks and somewhat comfort (though less than the Mustang)
3. Saddleman – Looks and comfort (no comments from the forum)

Have supporting info to counter what is here? Email and we will decide to add, change, or keep what is here the same.
Though not often, periodic updates will be made as needed.
What is the difference between a vf750c and a vf750 cd? Does the "CD" stand for custom deluxe? And what is the difference between the two? In looking for parts it rarely makes a difference, but I have seen it happen.
The only difference is the paint. The cd has a two tone paint scheme. Everything else is the same.
