I've been on the forum for 7 years and NOW I need to register?
Like everyone on here doesn't know who I am..
Or wishes they didn't...
This is a question for Hootmon.
I guess you can do this without being logged-in. Can you read this section without being logged-in.
I was able to read this thread without registering. Then I logged in, and was able to read it again.
Still riding the Magna, still a member of the Texas Air National Guard, currently living in AZ, VA, and points international.

I've always Logged in, otherwise the post would not indicate who I am..
So... I didn't know if this request was part of an upgrade of the system, or what??
Since I log in, I must be registered, A registered WHAT is up for debate!!!
I'm a little confused too, I got an email alert about this thread. We don't need to re-register or something, right? I know some forums do a periodic user database scrub, maybe that's what's happening?

I thought that too, thinking I was force-ably removed.
Glad you decided to pop your head in Wayne, you have not been called or maybe on stand-by to see what is going on in Texas with the Federal Military.
Crap, guess I should have been clearer. Existing members do not need to do anything. This is for new members only. :)

Marc, your post was clear. It is just that some of us don't remember registering, and were not sure of our status.
Bottom line, if you can post, you are registered -- relax and enjoy the show...

If I register in a different way, will people find my posts less annoying???
No :-P
I have disabled new registrations once more. LOL.
Jesse Mills is going to tr y to update the forum this weekend. Once done we'll give opening up the registrations once more.

Everything is upgraded. And a new security question on the registration form in addition to the traditional image captcha. I think we can try to open up registrations again.
