i was screwing around with some scrap aluminum and bodged together a high-mount camera gantry for the Magna. Neat view, kinda video game like. Should have gone 4-6" taller, as when the camera is centered you can't see the road ahead over my helmet. Oh well... Version 2.

Fun! I like the part at the end where your parking spot was blocked
You know this also opens you up for us to pick on your riding habits... right?!?
Hop Along
Impossible. I'm infallible. :P
You know if you would just remove the mirrors on your bike it would look like you were sliding down the road on your ass.
Haha.. The Corbin seat is a few inches lower than stock, so it's almost like that I guess...
I just re-watched the video, man it looks faster than it actually is! I was only 5 over at most, looks like I was doing 60!
Yes it did look like you were humming and than you parked in the shopping cart space. lol
That really is an interesting angle to view a ride. Thanks for posting. It gives me something to think about.
I'll bring the rig to Mena, maybe the v2 if I can get back into the scrap pile by then.

I like this idea.. Remove the mirrors, make a movie and edit out the beginning (getting on the bike) and end (getting off the bike)
It will look like you're just scooting along on air...
here ya go

Exactly
back in the day,Gulf with ethyl additive was called Gulf NoNox. Who remembers what Gulf regular gasoline was called?
It was called good gulf.
All I can think of now is Regular or Ethyl, why was it called Ethyl.
Gas was called Ethel because of the tetraethellead that they added to it. Gulf also had a subregular that they called gulftane.
Jerry Turner is "on fire" y'all. Nailed it all the way around.
Congratulations on your new 2015 Valkyrie special prize. See Greg Cothern for delivery.

It was produced by the Ethyl Corporation and is still used today to raise the octane rating in gasoline so it has less of a tendency to detonate in higher compression and old nasty engines with deposits in the combustion chambers.

Gulftane -- only slightly better than "drip" -- the effluent from gas wells which would burn (almost). A buddy and I had a Model A Ford that would run on drip, and preferred Gulftane over real gasoline -- until we tore it down, shaved the head, made a few other mods, and improved its performance immensely. When the rest of the autos in our little town were disabled with unplowed snow, the "A" was still operable because of its road clearance. It had a gas heater, ala Coleman stove style, so it was perfect for Drive-In movies in the winter. The heater was quite effective, especially when the car was not moving, and we didn't have to run the engine to get heat. Good times...
Good times it sounds like Lawrence, have any photos?
