n Feb 2007 an '84 V45 became my best friend... 2nd bike I'd ever owned. A short time later I learned of the Super Magna and thus began my love affair. Owned a sporty for a while, (had to get it out of my system), currently restoring a '74 xs650. And the time has finally arrived for me to shop around for my Super... So a couple questions to get us started;
1. Does anybody know of an 88 for sale?
And 2. How does the ride height compare to the V45 and 65? I've ridden some 65's. My concern is my height, I don't want my knees by my chin. I'm 6'1" with about a 35" inseem. I've read the numbers and on paper it seems fine, buuuuuut...... I know there's gotta be a guy out there taller, how do you feel on the Magna?
Lastly, I've been watching your forum off and on for years, thank you for keeping it alive and going. I'm looking forward to becoming a proud owner of a SUPER Super Magna as early as a couple months then work on it over the winter, or buy one ready-to-run middle/late winter so I'm riding in March. ???? This will be the last summer without my SMag.
I have a 87 super. I am 6 ft and the ride is good for me. They sell forward controls which might make it better but for me it is fine without them. Good luck on you search the super magna is a great bike and so much fun to ride. Welcome to the forum
