I have seen it, but can not find it now. How to use a fishing leader snap swivel to hold side panels on. Pointer please.
Marvin, I put a piece of coat hanger wire through the front posts of the side panels -- that insert into the rubber grommets in the frame, near to the inside of the panel so it does not interfere with insertion into the grommet. There are already holes in the posts -- you don't need to drill. Put the ends of the hairpin shaped coat hanger wire through the two holes, bend the ends back toward the center of the hairpin shape, then use steel leader with snaps on the ends to extend through the frame and clip to both loops you have created on the side panels. Leave just enough room for the panels to hang down to allow access to the bike's innards, but not enough to drag the ground.
I was infamous in this group for losing side panels until I adopted this technique. Haven't lost one since.
Thanks for information. Would you happen to have a picture. Worth a 1000 words etc.
Marvin, I am not very proficient at posting pics, but will give it a try later today.
Here you go, Marvin
