Just registered and clocking in to say Howdy.

Bought a 2003 Magna a few weeks ago and am in the process of stripping it down and cleaning it up.  Jets were blocked solid.  Been wanting one for years and finally found it in the Austin area.  Garage is getting full but its a good problem.

Anybody want a great 750 Shadow?  Hahah!

Anyway, howdy again and looking forward to some exchanges.

Wil

Welcome, Will..

I live in SW Austin area.  When you are up and running, let us know.  We should hold an Austin subchapter of MOOT lunch.

Hey Wil,
I'm in the same place as you are. My 97 magna has been sitting for two years, and I finally am able to work on her, and I hope to restore her to full running condition for my son. I live in Tucson, Arizona, but the MOOT folks seem to be the closest magna group with the most knowledge nearest to where I live.

Welcome all from Florida...
I just rescued a 2002 (Up for sale now)..  But still have my 1994..
Only surprise on the 2002 was I had to replace the fuel tank because of rust damage.. The tank would not vent when full..
You can review my adventure just search "Carb Bank"..

Good luck with your resurrections! It's very satisfying..
