Post by: cruiserlover on May 08, 2017, 11:23:23 PM
I went to Wikipedia, probably here too there is the same information. But why are some years called supermagna and why is my 95 called a deluxe?

Wikipedia is pretty clear on most of this but there were 3 versions or "generations" of Magnas.  The first gen's (V30, V45 & V65) were producded from 1982-1986.  The second gen's, also known as the SuperMagna, was produced in 1987 (VF700) & 1988 (VF750).  Finally, the thrid gen's were produced from 1994-2003 (VF750C & VF750CD) ... the CD stood for the "Deluxe" version which had a small front cowl and was available in special colors.  Short of those few things, a standard (C) and deluxe (CD) were the same machine.

Not all of the Deluxe models came with headlight fairings. I think maybe only the first two years or so. I own two deluxe models. My 95 has the hardware for a fairing. My 99 does not.
