Hey all just bought my dads 1984 Honda V65 Magna after watching it set for years. It needs some work carbs again since he let it set so long since the last carbs work was done 3 years ago. Lucky for me my son in law was a motorcycle mechanic for a lot of years. So now its up and running but needs a few things done.
I guess some mice decided to take up refuge in one of the mufflers at some point so there is that and then the clutch and front brake masters that need to be rebuilt.
Lucky for me I only had to pay $900 at auction.
Anyways just wanted to intro myself.

So you had to buy your Dad's bike at an auction? That sounds like a story.
Not really, My dad passed away this past December. The Trustee was given instructions he could not give it to any of his kids. So it went to auction and my wife had to buy if for me. Did not bother me to much really. Not much of a story.
