IF you have a V65, you should immediately replace a stock fork brace
They are known for cracking..
I have heard of people using the stainless ones off of e-bay and have never heard anyone bad mouth them, but no, I have never used one.

Yep, got one for my 85 Magna.  It wasn't cracked but better safe than sorry.  Easy to install, beefs it up considerably.  Worked great.  The one on my 83 was cracked, but I junked the bike before needing to replace it.
