Need to change the front tire. Do you know anything about the marks on the tire?
I'm trying to post pics.
Another is on the opposite side

The dot usually indicates the heaviest point of the tire, and it is suppose to be placed at the tire valve area as that is the lightest part of the rim..
Any idea what the other mark, the circle is?

The circle is what I was referring to.. Not sure about the S or the other marka
The "S" is beside the DOT number.
I Have read somewhere that that is something that affects balance, but the circle and k9 threw me.
I Think I will use dyna beads anyway.
Place the circle at the valve stem, then instead of beads, run "Ride On".. It's like Slime, but not bad for your rim, etc..
It balances your tire AND is a sealant as well.. Might as well do both!!
I have it in both of my Victory Tires and it seems to do great.. I haven't had any nails, but my job is right next to a Screen and Window warehouse, so there are objects in the parking lot constantly..

The yellow dot is the lightest part of the tire and goes by the valve stem which is the heaviest part. Never heard the way you mentioned it Harry.
I'll look into ride on.
My online search gave me every conceivable answer to the question.
I guess I should check with Dunlop.

I may have it backwards, but works out to the same answer.. The dot goes next to the tire valve, whichever is lighter, heavier...

I ordered the tire that was on the bike, it seemed to work Ok.
And I did email Dunlop about the marks. I'll let you know if they reply.
Goodyear answered my email saying they would refer it to Dunlop ,but I haven't heard anything from them .
Haven't changed the tire yet because I live in a rain forest . Every time the water quits running it rains again.
What rain forest do you live in?
That was a joke. I live in Kaufman county east of Terrell. It's a wooded area, and it rains every other day lately.
