I just got this bike about a month ago it had vance hines pipes on it I love the sound, but how can you tell if the carb was rejetted? It runs good as long as you are throttling it but seems to hesitate when letting off of the gas and easying back on it. Is there any way you can know for sure?
Jerry I would be glad to look at it for ya and should easily be able to tell if ya want? What RPM does it seem to do this the most? If you have it in the upper RPM's say over 6 and let off and let the motor pull it down does it pop on deceleration?
At about 40 mph it seems to do it the most and yes when you let off of the gas it does do some popping but not that much at high rpms more at lower rpms.
Well that could be it doesnt have jets/shims or the pilot jet adjustment. I am willing to look at if you are willing to come out to Seagoville?
Thanks for the offer maybe I can make it out Friday if convenant for you I live in Arlington so that would be a nice ride. I am off on Fridays and Saturdays so let me know what works for you and again thanks.
