Title: kick stand

Do any of ya"ll have a hard time getting your kick stand down I have a 94 Magna and I find it hard to get my boot and the small little bit of the kick stand that sticks out. Any suggestions? Thanks

Jerry I meant to mention that to you when you were here, it is a bit on the sticking side, LoL.  Clean it thoroughly then put some light great on the pivot pin best ya can and give it try.

I find it dificult. It doesn't stick out far enough and it a bit far back. I tried a peice of hose but it won't stay on and didn't help much.
Now with the center stand on it's even harder. There's always marks from my boots on the muffler.

I don't have an answer for you but I do know what you are talking about.  The previous owner of my bike left behind black ruber heel marks on my muffler putting down the sidestand and me to. :roll: In a little bit of time the location will be second nature for you.

Yep and like greg said a little grease goes along way but as far as the bootmark not much can be done except clean it off when you polish

Boot marks are very easy to take off, get a nice new razor blade, and carefully clean it off.  I have done this for years and works great!

I cleaned the kickstand and put a little wd 40 on it what a diffence thank Greg for the tip.  Also I got the parts shims and jets also a K&N air filter I went ahead and put the filter on when I took the old one off much to my surprize it allready had a K&N filter it was a little dirty but not bad. I put the new one in since I had allready bought it if you know if any one needs one I have an extra.
