Title: 1985 V45 Exhaust Collector Rattle
Post by: steven1281 on September 10, 2006, 09:52:37 AM
1985 V45 Magna, 32xxx miles...  Something has decided to come loose in the exhaust collector, making a horrible buzzing/rattling at about 3700 - 4300 rpm.

I found a parts bike (Honda no longer carries the part), thinking I could just swap exhausts, but the replacement collector is doing it too.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?  Surely I am not the first one this has happened to...  Is there an aftermarket bolt on exhaust system available where I wouldn't have to rejet or pull the engine to install?  Thanks, Steven
