Title: Mr. Good Rice Wrench
Post by: mmaiden on July 25, 2005, 07:02:49 AM
Does anyone have a mechanic or shop they have absolutely total, trust in? At a stealership or not. I have looked in some shops and and seen some of the guys who are turning the wrenches and I wonder...
Brag on your best Magna mechanic. Thanks!

The main thing I have in mind right now is putting OEM pipes back on and getting the carburation adjusted accordingly. My question was actually kind of general. Which shop does it right? Preferrably in the East side of the state. Thanks. I have really enjoyed the information available on the MOOT site. Mike

I am pretty sure I can save you a bunch of money on the installation and getting the carbs back to where they should be.
You find the pipes and such and let me know we can get something set up if you are willing to make a little trip.

That would be outstanding!. I'll let you know when I receive them. I think I'd also be interested in selling what comes off. I think someone would want them. They are a bit too loud for an old man. If I can find out how to do it, I'll send you a pic. Thanks, Mike

Mike nice looking scoot!  Yeah those drag pipes are a bit LOUD!  LoL.  Do you know if the previous owner had the carbs shim'ed or jet'ed?
Thanks.

No, I don't know that. It runs good, though. I bought it off eBay. It has 6600 miles on it.
