Hello all,

I am new to cycles and just got an 83 V-65. The right side muffler sounds terrible and is noticably louder than the left. I am wanting to get some aftermarket mufflers this winter or even whole exhaust including pipes and mufflers.

I see Jardine has some as well as MAC, but cant find any pics of either on this bike to see what they look like. I think Kerker also sells some and have seen them on an ebay bike, but didnt like the look of them (satin/brushed).

Anyone have sound clips and or pics of any aftermarket exhaust on this bike, as well as any other mufflers I haven't mentioned.

By the way, not from Texas obviously, but love West Texas! Specially El Paso.

Well I don'tknow much about the V65 but welcome to our site there are a bunch of guys that will help you in your quest I am sure that you will find what you need!!!!

Go to this site //www.v4hondabbs.com and do a search. You will find more information on that subject and the V65's than you will know what to do with.

Congrats on the acquisition of the V65, we have quite a few of them in the membership. I know they will "pipe" up and help with your questions.

Thanks for all the responses. I am going to check out that site mentioned for sure.

I sure am ready for spring. Its snowing here today. No accumulation, just blowing around!
