You have the gamut covered well.

I would have liked to see what their offer would have been also, guess that is just a way to get people to input the bike info so the site owners might possibly snag some deals.

The market has shrunk in half as far as new bike sales, many supply distributors have closed, only a few left, this just in the last 5 years or so.

Keep after it Marty.

Hey, Terry,

NextDoor app for NW DFW area, and V4musclebike.com.   Originally had it on Facebook, CycleTrader.com and Craig's list for a while but got a flood of emails from foreigners trying to see me certifications.  I did have about 3 serious buyers ready to pick it up the next day, and then apparently either their mother or better half cancelled the idea.  Thought about putting it out on a busy street corner somewhere with a sign, but afraid someone would abscond with it.

Perhaps I'll try Craig's list again in a few weeks if I feel more energetic about it.  I also tried some new site that buys bikes and promises a quote in 15 minutes.  I spent 20 minutes loading pictures, etc., and never got a quote, although I expected it to be low, so only a waste of time.

Hmm, I thought when I had mine apart that the shims were just little washers but my main concern was the jets. I will look for some washers now. Thanks guys.
By adding an additional .020" to the needle, it helps take the stumble that these bike have around 3-4K RPM..

Now that I've run a couple of tanks of gas through it my bike is doing much better.
This weather is keeping me from riding much. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise.
The next thing is a front tire. I know a guy with a manual tire machine, may see about using it to save a few bucks. I'm not sure but the nearest place to have a tire changed is Canton I believe.

The .020 is correct..
They look like larger diameter than stock, but it's been a minute since I have seen one..
I will use this to try to hunt down some locally..
THANX so much for the effort!!!

I bought mine from Ace hardware, probably from 15 years ago, they should be SS but not certain. I wrote something on the bag, maybe a conversion, IDK.

The .020 bag is for the ones I measured that were the same, they went in the plastic bag for use on my carburetor.

I think I bought mine at either Home Depot or Lowes, maybe another hardware store. Took a caliper and measured to get what I needed that were the same thickness and ran with it.

If I could find them I would need to measure or show you a photo of what I have. It would take me a day or two to locate but i will look.
No worries..
