Sorry, I was looking at the exhaust that was not numbered.       I think I better leave my rivets all in considering that I have already removed the resonators.  I wonder what it would sound like if I removed 1 rivet with my removed resonators.  Hmmm.

I had never thought about drilling the rivets guys.. Thanx..  All my holes are at 3:30 (between rivets) most inside point.. So if I decide to go with two holes, I will add one at 6..
Sometimes you just need someone to think outside the box your thinking in..
Jim.. Are you thinking about adding a 2nd hole.. If so, are you going to add a third video for us??
Should we add something at the end of this to the Tech Talk section that includes links to the videos???
If we do, there should be a referrence that you should consider adding one shim to the carbs..

   I would think with the Resonators removed, I doubt you will gain much by adding a hole... IMHO..

Hoot, you gain character by the way of sound. The resonator mod is quiet from what I heard on Roberts bike.

Out of laziness I only replaced three rivets in each muffler, I really couldn't tell any difference in the sound. There is quite a bit of vibration and eventually one of the end plates got loose and started to rattle so I had to replace the rivets..

  i just got a great idea...   this is such an awesome idea....   Magniac could make some endplates for us that have a slotted arc milled into it so we can convert back to stock should need be.   well okay.  I thought it was a good idea...  SOMEBODY PLLLLLLLLLLLLEASE back me up...anybody?

Slotted arc, huh? Actually wouldn't be a bad idea if the endplates were round. Kinda hard to rotate an oval, though.
