Hey guys, what's the quickest/easiest way to charge a lawnmower battery?

I have jumper cables but I know that's only temporary.

Thanks in advance.

depending on the battery type. Some are like cars or other are dry cell like our bikes. Just use a car battery charger if its a sealed battery. Otherwise our chargers will work if its a dry cell. Is it for a lawnmower or riding tractor? Because if its for a lawnmower with electric start I believe those are 6volt and if it is makesure the charger works on 6 volt batteries.

All of my chargers and battery tenders have a 6 and 12 volt setting.  I would think anything 2 amps or less would be ok.

When I saw this, yesterday I wondered the same.

Maybe he means AGM (absorbed glass mat) which most of our sealed batteries are.  A dry cell is a flashlight battery.

No need for a reason other than the journey.

What I meant was to show the difference between our bike batteries which come "dry celled" then need to be filled and a car battery which is sealed and maintenance free. The two types batteries have to be charged differently. Being that lawnmowers can require either wanted him to make sure which one he has.

A lawnmower with a battery?  That's a new one on me.  What does it do?  Surely they don't make a lawnmower that starts without yanking on a cord?

I learn the damnedest things online.

Yes they do make lawnmowers with electric start. Toro makes then for sure. Gotta make it easy for the senior citizens to start their mower.

Let's take it easy on the Senior Citizen thing...It just shows what we 've learned along the way...Not only do we have electric start but also ride the damn thing too.....
