Seat mod for David L Carrale.

Here's the way the seat was on Vic when I got him.

I had two pieces of galvanized pipe welded to a piece of plate. I then had holes drilled and tapped to match the threaded holes that were there. This way, I can take all this stuff off and go back to stock if I ever need or want to.

Pipe insulation slid over the pipe gives me ample padding.

I had an upholstery shop make some leather sleeves to go over the arms.

Total cost was about $45.00.

When it came to Maggie, I had better arms made.

I haven't done any more on Maggie. I want to take a piece of poplar and cut it in a curve to match the arms. I'll then attach some bolts to go through the arms. I'll put padding on top of the wood, and have it coverd in leather.    ... one of these days.

I'd rather be outside than in.

If Frank Lloyd Wright had made motorcycle seats, I'll bet they would have looked a lot like that, Guy.

Good job and very clever ideas.
Hard as rock. Tough as nails. Dense as concrete.
