OK.  I know this is sort of a far fetched question, but thought somebody out there might have some insight on it.
This is in reference to a 1984 V45.  When you take the headlight out there are several wire connections behind out.  3 for each blinker and a couple of others.  Mine has one that is unused.

It is a brown wire and has a female connection on it.  It has 12v of power when the key is on.  No other wires unused in there and everything is hooked up and working fine.

Any idea what the heck it is there for?
Thanks!!

Does it have 12volts when you have your key turned to Acc.?

It is a very factory looking connector.  I had thought the same thing about it being from the previous, but I don't give that guy much credit for doing something this original looking.

Yes, 12v when key is on only.

It looks like it is an aux. plug for 12v.  It appears to Tee from the switch and then other side goes to the license light.  I had a 85 and never noticed it.

Thank you for the link.  That is a very nice document to have.

Yep, it sure is there isn't it?  Looks like it tees at the back also and goes to license light and brake sensor.  Guess if I ever decide to add more lights it will come in handy to run to a relay.

Thanks everyone for you input.  You guys are a great source of information and help!!!
