Would like to know how it handles the wet.  I just put a ME-188 on mine in back and rode in the rain the other day.  Was not happy.  skidded to a stop several times and spun taking off several times.  Shop assurred me it was a good rain tire.  My old tire, some off brand, was better than that in the rain.

Greg, this is a 170/80/15. Got it from Denniskirk. Has the snake emblem on the side.

What a shame that the great old Avon Roadrunners don't come in a size to fit the Magna.  That was all I ever used on my old GS1000, after trying several others (Continental, Michelin, Dunlop etc.) and I sure wish I could get something that good for Maggie May.  I don't know how Avon managed to combine wet-road adhesion and long tread life, but somehow they did - the damn things lasted forever and gripped wet pavement like velcro.

June I will be needing a new back tire.  Where did you have it done and price?

I took the tire to the metric shop I patronize in Frisco, CycleConcepts. The phone is 972-377-0889. The cost was around $40 including tax and disposal fee. It is about 1/2 mile north of Edorado on Preston road. They have no signs on the road but the area is called Sams Ranch. A bunch of quanset steel type of buildings.
