Anyone ever tried to fit the gas tank from a shadow or fenders off a shadow or vtx onto the magna?

No, but the two extra lights and the mounting bar for same were listed on JC Whitney's web site as fitting a Shadow.  After examining the front fork of a Shadow parked on UT campus, I concluded the forks were the same, and the lights fit just fine.

Not recommending these particular lights.  They were inexpensive, and they make the bike really visible from the front, which was my objective, but I don't particularly like the appearance of them.  Think if I had to do it over, I would save up for the Kurakyn bullets.
