Hey, Robert, where did you get those pegs??  I have the same engine guards, and yours is the only installation I have seen that has horizontal pegs.

It is not hard to ride like that at all.  90 % of the time I am on the normal pegs with my toe shifter.  I don't us my highway pegs very  often at all.  Shifting with the heel all I do is  raise my leg to shift which is not hard at all.  I can leave a red light and go to the highway pegs and never give it a second thought.

I am 5 foot 10 and shrinking, foot size is 10.5.  I like that I can change my feet in three comfortable positions by having my feet on both pegs at the same time.   Because when you get a cramp no position is comfortable but that one is the most comfortable.

I like the slant, my legs are very compatible with a natural open posture of my feet.

Where can i get those pegs, i think u just made me a happy little lad with that idea. Seems like it realy wouldnt be to difficult now that i think of it, just have to get used to lifting the heel to upshift instead of the toe. Another thing i found funny in those pics. That little part on the left side with the rust on it on the engine, mine is also rusted exactly the same lol. Tried getting rid of it with the old cola and aluminum foil trick but it didnt work on that.

I guess I'm going to have to attend a MootMag just to see if we end up separating the "Heel SHifters" from the "Toe Shifters".

My wife's bike has a heel toe shifter, but the positioning is so different then the Magna I have not missed a shift as of yet.

I forget the rust that is on the little bracket.  I may take it off and paint or have my dad powder-coat it.

The pegs came from a Honda dealership with Internet matched pricing.

Back to the subject does anybody know of any mods that can be done to move the controls foreward? the heal shift is a good idea from the pegs but im not to sure it will be most comfy. Theres gotta be a way to do it withought having to spend $600 on jardines since most places arent carying the mapans.

I have found relocation kits for the vtx and shadow but i dont think they would work with the magna.
