1st Generation Magna Fuel Filter?

Anyone replaced the fuel filter on a V65?  When you take the old one off, do you need to shut the fuel off or anything?  Is fuel going to go everywhere?  Hope you can help?  Thanks guys.

1st gen Magnas have electric fuel pumps- as long as the ignition is Off, fuel will not flow. There may be a little residual fuel due to gravity flow out.
