Hello All

Could any of you gents tell me what Seafoam is..?   Heard its name mentioned once or twice here on the forum.  I live abroad in Cyprus and have never heard of it...maybe its something peculiar to the USA..?

Regards to all...Connor.

this was behind the shim like, not in the bowl or something but it looked like a wad of foam it wasn't wet, it didnt have noxious fumes and was a solid.  that help?

That comes from a breather on the left side under the false air filter chrome cover. I made a new one out of UNI Green filter foam. Cut it thinner than the proper size to keep crude out of the carbs. Every 3 gen Magna is like this and should be replaced with something better if you want it back like it was.

I have Uni Foam if someone wants I can drop a piece in the mail to you, you will have to cut it to size yourself.

Oh yeah that helps a bunch if you take the left chrome cover off and look right by where the key is you will see a little box with a hose attached to it. This is a crankcase breather and there is some foam in there I bet if you were to look in there you would see the foam has disintigrated get some foam and i soaked mine in a little oil and replace the filter.

There is a link to the fiche for it you do not have to buy the filter like I said get with Greg sure he some foam that would work....

I noted that the foam was gone when I first purchased my bike.. I bought the part from Honda (Don't remember the cost, but it could have been tooooooo bad, because I don't rememeber!!!)
I should probably check it again (4 years later)
