Good Job Terry, I talk you up, then you give out bad links..
He gives that bad link out to all the new people to see if they pay attention..

Hoot does that to my link everytime, he has Greg powers. I don't know why it never works, it does for me. Anyway, go to the forum page under MOOT BUSINESS it is a sticky in the top 3 post called NEW PHOTO WEBSITE. Sorry about Hoot messing with my link.

Did Hoot tell you he use to live in Texas...know what happened, he was voted off. Now in Florida as far as the border would let him.

If you have not already check out the FAQ Section.

hey hootman
yea i see you have the same color too, nice,i wasn't sure about the color when i bought it,i thought i could always paint it,i knew i liked everything else about the bike,a 95 and looks like new, well taken care of,and a magna to boot
the longer i have it the more i like it,plus its nice to be seen on the road for obvious reasons, black looks nice but hard to see even in the day,a few seconds of reaction time can mean allot
my msf instructor has a peril yellow harley with bags and ferrings, you could see it a mile away
anyways im stickin with the color im liken it 8) 8)

Terry - Thanx for the info above:
My High beam just went out last week. I ordered an Osram Silver Star H4 on e-bay (made in Germany).
The link above wanted $27 plus $10 shipping for two bulbs
I got two bulbs for $28 with shipping. I can't speak to the quality of one versus the other, but this seller has 100% happy customers, so took the chance..

This has nothing to do with the bulb but I have found that the VTX headlight upgrade on my Magna made a HUGE difference in the quality of the headlight as well as improving the overall look of the front end of the Magna.  BTW they use the same bulb so if you want to swap the one you just bought it will work.  I dont remember the cost of this upgrade but you can get the parts from any Honda dealer.  There have been several posts with a list of all the needed part numbers.  I was fortunate enough to get a complete used unit from another Moot member.  What you need basically is a complete headlight unit from a Honda VTX (1800 or 1300 will work).  Here is a link to the FAQ section which lists everything you need.

Has anyone tried one of these??? I think you would get the same improvement at the VTX Cyclops but not effect the windshield as much..

The reflector in the VTX unit is MUCH better than that of the stock Magna unit.  It alone makes a HUGE difference and if you install the fancy expensive bulb it is even better.

The speed o cable will rub/hit the VTX bucket a bit..
I am working on a mounting kit that will be a simple bolt on to eliminate this.
