hey guys
new to forum here, and by the way great forum and very informative if you have a magna
i have a 95 magna 750c,as you can tell from my sig, bought it a few month ago and just love it,more power and pep i expected from a 750.
been going over the bike from top to bottom,im pretty mechanical and could work on just about anything as long as i have the right tool, and i have a boat load or two of them.
since i bought it i've put new tires, battery, chain guard, brakestay rod from cycleistic, nice stuff.
still waiting on my new headlight, just going stock for now, chrome looked pretty bad,and new stay bracket, what i want to know is what is the brightest and whitest bulb i could put in the stock light and still keeping it street legal, also without blinding on coming traffic.
looking forward to doing some modes down the road, thinking of front progressive springs, and a few others, stainless steel speedo and front brake cable
will post some pics of my bike soon, btw how do i do that
also im from the sw houston area, anybody else?? be nice to have some guys close for future wrench sessions

Welcome from Safety Harbor, Fl.
Pictures.. The best way is to upload pictures to a site like TinyPic.com.. Then copy the [IMG] link provided.
If I had a little extra cash, I would think about this lens
http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=T50700.
I don't have it, but I bet it works better than the stock defused lens..
I just put a SilverStar bulb in mine, which makes it better, but the biggest problem I have is the spread between low beam and high beam.. If I make the low beam set correctly, the high beam is in the trees. IF I make the high beam correct, then I get a good shot of my front tire tread (Slightly exaggerating).

thanks for all the responses but you guys got me confused now. :-? :-?,im just trying to get more light out of my stock lens with a brighter bulb(for safety reasons mostly)for now until i upgrade my headlight, was thinking of the vtx mode but then you have the speedo cable rub problem, maybe headlight case not as deep would solve that problem or extension bracket for bucket, but dont want it to stick out to far, plus i have a hell cat memphis shade shield on front, dont know if that would be a problem??
just want a inexpensive fix for now until i decide which route to go
