Thanks! Yes, I couldn't afford to have it done. I don't consider myself a painter, but I do enjoy trying. Find a good automotive paint store and someone there that knows what he's doing. Ask questions, and make sure all the products you use are compatable. If you don't know what kind of paint your stating with or painting over you could end up with a disaster. Goog luck with your project..

At first I was only jealous of your skill set.  Now I am jealous of the bike, too!! 

What a transformation.  Hope in all your pictures you captured the VIN before and after -- otherwise no one will believe it is the same bike!
