Hi Guys,

I have been searching for either Cobra or V&N pipes for my 84 VN700C Magna, can it be done?
Thanks

It will more than like require you to either call or email the companies with the request.  They may have the pipes, yet not spend the money to advertise them for a bike that old.

Wow, John,
Thank you very much. That is everything that I could ever expect for an answer.

Well I contacted both V&H and Cobra with no luck. They both said we do not support that year and model. The Cobra help desk did give me a place to go. This was there reply: No. Give Super Trapp a call and see if they have any pipes for your year and model Magna. Thanks for asking Cobra, ride safe.

I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for the good leads.

Thanks DG,

I contacted MAC, I will let you know how it goes. I bought a 96 VN800-B1 Vulcan Classic a few weeks ago. They have this method called scooterizing.

It requires performance pipes, modified air box and cover, and a dyno jet stage 1 kit. Can I do something like this to my 84 VF700C? I have removed the the baffles and drilled (8) holes in a bolt circle dia of about 4" in the SS back plate in the end of my megaphone slip ons. Would this be considered enough to put a stage one kit in and do some mods to my airbox. Does the 84 have any EPA crap that I can remove?

Dan, I don't know about the mods you want to do but I can help with the epa parts aka California model. Probably the easiest way is to check for a charcoal canister mounted to the frame cross member in front of the engine.
