So today I was in the process of rolling my bike out of the garage and it was harder than normal to back out in neutral.  The only thing I have done to the bike is disconnected the speedo cable to check it out.  Any ideas why this could be happening? Thanks

Does it change when you disengage the clutch?  If so, it is in the transmission.

Did you check the air pressure in both tires?  If it has been sitting for a while with a slow leak, this could cause it to roll badly.

Is the chain well lubricated?  If you have a link or two binding, it can cause this.  Also if you have excess wear on one or both sprockets.

If you have a lift, even a "poor man's lift", try putting up the back wheel and see if it spins easily.

As a last resort, lift the front wheel and listen to the bearings as you rotate it in both directions.

Thanks for the reply.  My PSI was down 10 lbs crazy how much of a difference that will make.  Glad I have new tires to be put on next week.

Glad you didn't discover that on a ride.

Tire pressure will obviously increase rolling resistence.

Also if you let a bike sit for a while the clutch disc get saturated with oil since its a wet clutch, work the clutch several times and should help "wring-out" some of the oil helping also.  This statement is for when its in gear obviously.
