Anybody up North here have any left over windshield from wrecks sitting around their garage? I am thinking of making wind blockers for the handlebars and thought of using that type of material.

Don't you have wrecks down there? Sorry when I wrecked the Gold Wing I tossed the damaged windshield. No reason to keep something that is damaged.

When I said North I meant the North of Texas, because I know of a couple of bikers that have gone down.
I guess no one around here is a pack rat like me.

Bob check with Curtis H. he was making shields for his valk a while back and has a learned a lot about it.  He may even have some left over material.

Bob - I've got a full windshield you can have! Wahoo!

Yeah Bob, I don't have any material, but like Greg said I've picked up a few tricks for working lexan.  Come by when you get all your ducks in a row and you can use my band saw to cut your deflectors into shape.  I also know the trick to getting that factory smooth edge (MEK or methyl-ethyl-keytone wiped along the edge) and I have plenty of MEK too!

No need for a reason other than the journey.
