part interchange question

Can someone tell me if a speedometer from a V65 will fit a V45?

Well I might find out the answer to this in about a half hour. My brother is bringing his V45 over to check it out. I will let you know what I find.  From looking at pictures it seem the mounting holes are different on the housing but I'm still wondering if I could swap the gauge into the old housing. We will see.

I want to say no.  Seems like the V65 ones are slightly larger.  Let us know though.

It worked! The mounting holes on the housing of v45 are wider than the v65 but I was able to swap the actual gauge into the old housing and it was the same.
