Might be the work machine but I am not getting a web page for : http://turnerfallsinn.com/   OR   www.turnerfallsinn.com...

Is the site down?

Trying to make a reservation....   :?

I am hesitant what we will fine....

When I called and talked to the girl asking about wifi on a Saturday, (w/o me asking) she volunteered to check about a coffee shop wifi and she would call and let me know Monday, never happened.

When I wanted to make reservations I called as I had questions, no answer, so I left a message that I wanted to make reservations (did not say when) can you give me a call at ********, no call back.

What strikes me as odd, when you are a small outfit or the economic times are making it difficult....the One task that you have to do is bring in money, the Only way to do that at a lodging place is by filling rooms. When there was no call back to book my room, the most important task, it makes me wonder.

I have considered and may take a ride up there before hand.

And the site is down for me also.

Kinda strange that you are not getting any replies, but I just talked to Brenda at the Inn and she said she rented the last cabin to a MOOT member days ago and they are filled for our event scheduled time. Looks like we own the place now.

I did tell her that she has some kind of problem with her web site.
You are not paid for what you do, but rather for what you will do and when that time comes, you will be highly underpaid.

Looks dead to me too.
Here's the address and phone number:
5144 U.S. 77  Davis, OK 73030
(580) 369-2944

So is this gonna be the place most people who don't camp stay?  I will make reservations today if this will be a common meet point.

Nervous because the Ghetto Valk is still in Germany...
Cheers!

Davis, Oklahoma = Smokin Joe's bbq.  This is a good, good thing.
Jeff, this is indeed a good thing! Best BBQ I've had in a long time!
It is also a great place to park the Toy Hauler for MOOTMAG!
I'll be parked at Smokin' Joe's new BBQ and RV Park.
The location is not correct in Google yet because Joe just relocated to a larger facility immediately off I-35 on HY77.
Karen and I had Ribs and Pulled Pork BBQ there and were really impressed with the food.
RV sites with either 30 or 50 Amp service is $23.50 per night and tent camping will be $12.50 for MOOTMAG members.
If you are going to tent camp or RV there be sure to mention MOOT.

Buddy, can you make it easy on the lazy TENT folk like me and share Joe's contact info at Smokin Joes BBQ and RV park?

I will be sure to ask for a site with trees so I can hang the hammock tent again :-)
I expect to get there Thursday night or Friday...

No Problem!
The office number for Smokin' Joe's BBQ is 580 369-2818.
The staff are frequently too busy to answer the phone during business hours, but I have usually had good results calling Joe directly on his cell: 580 618-0095.
The tent area has lots of trees, should be no problem for your squirrel bed.
