I love the "Tips and Tricks" idea by Moose, but can't find him on the member list. I really like his idea of attaching cruiser pegs via the engine bolts but I'm having trouble understanding exactly what I need to purchase to do this for my 95 honda magna 750cd. Is this an example of what to look for? http://www.jpcycles.com/product/ZZ53228.
Any suggestions that don't require a tap and die set?

That would probably work.
I mounted a different type (all you need is a peg that is flat where the bolt goes in and about the same size as the engine mounting bolt.
I figured out how short the mounting bolt would be and went down and bought longer bolts... You want them to be hardened bolts though..

I have the Hondaline engine guards but decided not to mount to them as I felt they would stick out too far so I choose to mount them to the frame using various Kuryakyn parts.  I can fold them up and they tuck neatly in front of the engine guards.  It's not the cheapest way to go for sure but it works well.

I like my legs a bit farther out and straighter and put mine on the engine guard for that reason.
You are not paid for what you do, but rather for what you will do and when that time comes, you will be highly underpaid.

I did the same, but because I have a forwarding kit, that was the best option

I really like the way you installed these. Could you please list the Kuryakyn parts you used for mounting the pegs?
