Metal side covers?

Hi,
I'm thinking of replacing the scratched up side covers on my '02 Magna; just wondering if anyone here has any experience with the metal aftermarket version that's for sale on ebay (or any similar). Thanks in advance.

No direct experience, but I have heard reports on other forums of very poor quality, both in the casting and the finish.
