Hi,
New, thicker-toed riding boots require me to move up the shifter lever a bit.  Oddly enough, I can't find any info on this in either the owner's manual or the Magna service manual. Before I start, is it simply backing out the bolt on the back side of the lever axle and re-setting the shifter lever a bit higher on the spline?  Thanks for any input.

Ooops; found it under the "Tips and Tricks". Apparently it is as simple as it appears.

I've had the need to adjust the shifter lever on almost all the bikes I have.  Let me know if you still need help

Thanks; I'm going to get to it tomorrow, hopefully.

Unfortunately, my 7 year-old had other plans  I now plan on taking care of it this coming weekend. I'm on vaca next week and plan to do a fair amount of riding so I need to get it done.  With the new boots I'm shifting mostly by catching the edge of the shifter with the edge of my boot sole; needless to say I've missed more than a few upshifts...thanks for asking and I'll let you know if I run into any issues.
