The referrence to where he got the tank does not seem to be valid anymore...

A friend of mine in Vancouver BC makes 5-gal tanks for the Magna. I don't think he has a website yet, but you can e-mail him at  Ian.Flanders@shaw.ca  and he can send you pics. He does a fantastic job, and even puts on stock Honda graphics.

Maybe someone who knows how to post pics on here could have him send some.

The tank on that bike was made by a company called fat tank. I dont think they are in business anymore.

It sure would be nice to have a longer range, but if you do this you need/must remember it WILL change handling characterics.  Especially on a full tank.  You will have more weight on your front wheel and a higher center of gravity.  I know we all feel a difference when we have a passenger, but tweaking the rear suspension is much easier than the front and the change will be greatly affecting the front suspension.  My opinion/thoughts of course (which have more than once been proven wrong)  ;-)

that's cool,  not everyone has their own web server.

You have to admit he does a heck of a job. It is a little pricey, but remember he does each one by hand himself, and it takes a long time to make them look that good.

does he need the old tank to sacrifice?

Magniac

I think he will do it on an exchange basis. Check with him.
