I bought this one off ebay a while back. its worked great for me.

One thing I would like to see Cycle-istiC make would be some nice "P" brackets for mounting extra lights.
I'll draw up a design an stick it up on the site.

the problem with racks like that is they are mainly for looks. i'm sure that has a less useable weight rating than the hondaline one i have, that broke for Dobie when he had his aux gas tank on it. I think the hondaline one says not to put more than 6 to 10 lbs on it.

Kuryakyn makes a pretty good assortment of "p" clamps.

No need for a reason other than the journey.

I think Charles is right. After looking at the same rack an installed on a 750 Shadow Spirit, it was hard to miss that you would not be able to put much of anything on it and have it sit evenly across the rack. As it is, the majority of the weight of any large cargo is going to be concentrated near the rear edge, where it has maximum leverage to work against the mounting points.

I have to find one to check it out. It's a direct replacement for the Hondaline on the 3rd gen.
