Well we splurged and bought a lift table from Harbour Freight. It seems like it will be sturdy enough for any bike to be on and is very easy to operate. I need to buy a scissor lift to raise the rear of the bike to be able to work on the suspension, tires, etc. I wanted one with an air lift but this hydraulic lift works fine. Only complaint I might have is that the pedals to lift it might get in the way but it sure is a lot nicer than crawling around on the rocks or a dirty floor :D .

Congrats, you'll like it.  I dont' have a lift table, but I have the MC/ATV jack and it's great to roll around the bike on an office chair while I work.

No need for a reason other than the journey.

If it ever warms up I'll be trying it out. The 1000R is on it right now mostly due to lack of space but thought I would see if I could fix the dampener for the rear shock. If you need to use it just come on by, you are more than welcome to it. I still have the smaller lift like what Curtis is talking about and I am debating on what to do with it.
