Has anybody used the Kuryakyn part number 7907 flooorboards for the passenger? I currently have the iso wings for me and the passenger, which have been nice, but I rode a 2005 HD Dyna Low Rider (my late father in laws) with the floorboards and my wife said they made a huge difference. I am thinking that I might like to put them on, but wanted to know if anybody had tried them already. I have the cycle-istic peg extenders on and one thing I don't like about them and the iso wings is that I have to loosen the set screw and change the angle when I put them down. They just don't fold up at the correct angle. If they were round, it wouldn't make any difference. I've gottne used to it and it's really not a huge deal. I already have the adapters for the iso wings that I think I'd need for the floorboards, but would sure like to know it I'm right on this before spending the $180 for them.

BTW, here was the deal with the Harley. My father in law bought it new Otober of 05 and recently passed away. It was offered to me for part of our inheritence (sp?), so it would have been a really good deal. Trouble is, I've never really cared for Harleys. So... I said I'd try it. It has forward controls (which give my back fits, but I could change back to mid's) and Sreaming Eagle exhaust (actually it wasn't as bad as I thought), but sure a lot louder than my Magna. It's not a bad bike, but I kept comparing it to mine (vibration vs. no vibration, noise vs. hardly no noise, not real comfortable vs. pretty comfortable now that I have mine the way I want it, etc.). Anyway, I think I'm going to sell it instead of keeping it. The original intent was to ride it for a while and keep the Magna and see which one I liked best, but I think I already know, especially after riding 2 weekends ago with about 5 other bikes (1800 VTXC, 2005 Goldwing, 1200 Sportster, BMW, etc.). We put on about 250 miles on a Saturday and I was 2 up, while they were all solo. I rode circles around them in the corners all day, and we rode about the same on everything else, including the freeway at a little better than 75 mph.  So.. I guess I'll be hanging around this group listening to you talk about your wrenching sessions with envy for a while. OK, I'm off my box now. Anybody remember my original question? Oh, heah, the floorboards.

I have the Cobra floor boards and matching passenger floor boards. I really like the floor boards and the passenger ones look nice. The problem with the passenger boards is that it restricts getting the side covers off. You need to angel the cover just right to get it off. That is the only complaint.

RJB,
Any pics of what they look like and what they cost? I am only interested in the passenger boards.
Thanks,
Steve
