Dyna bead question

I am about to mount some new tires and was wondering how much I need per tire.  1 oz each??
Also, what is a fair price to pay for them?  I have found a local dealer but have not gone by there yet.

I rode down to Rowlett Tues eve to help my oldest daughter. I found a few DynaBead dealers from the web-site. Wed am,went by one off I30, it was closed. So, on Wed. pm, I called another dealer in Azle, but they no longer sell Beads.  Curtis- where do you buy yours?

I bought mine directly from the Dyna Bead website..
I put a car tire on the rear of my bike and used 2.5 oz.. and it is fine.. (I've had it up to 95 MPH).
Here is a secret..
By the little bottle they sell..
Remove the Valve stem.
Put the plastic tube on the Valve stem.
Put Dyna Beads in the bottle
Fill the plastic tube 1/2 full.
Then use a Baster type device (I used a Radiator tester), put the end of the baster tube against the plastic tube end, then pump the beads up and down in the tube with the suction bulb at the end of the baster.. This works very well..
I am very happy with the product.

Hoot, I like the "pumping" idea.  If you just pour them like I did you have to go painfully S L O W to keep the beads in single file or they will bridge.

Do my eyes deceive or is that a MAGNA on their webpage?

I have not as of yet, but would not hesitate, and plan to..
Don't know if anyone has discussed this..
I don't see any reason why these are not recyclable.. By this I mean.. When you take a tire off, you should be able to re-collect the beads, maybe clean them, and then re-insert in a new tire.. Anybody think any differently..
When I was doing my car tire, I got some oil in my tire as a result of trying to get the tire mounted..
I took the tire back off, collected the beads, washed the tire (inside and out), put the beads in a pan and washed them in Simple Green.
I ran them through a screen type strainer (don't tell my wife) to separate any other debris, dried them off and inserted the beads into the tire after it was mounted..
Worked great..

Ordered some last night via web.  Have noticed vibration above 30mph the past 6mos.  May be the Metzler.  I am going to check the tork on the axle and put the beads in.
