Jim & I are planning to visit the Red Springs motorcycle salvage yard one day the week of March 9th when he is on spring break.

The yard is only open Monday thru Friday. I realize this is an issue for most working folks, but I didn't make that rule. I should be able to schedule any time off those weekdays.

Red Springs is located near Van, Texas (East Texas). I will be leaving from the Dallas area with my van if anyone wants to cage it with me.

Red Springs is a business that stretches back many years and covers approximately 7 acres of property. Its quite a cornucopia of motorcycles, old and late model. It appears to be all metric bikes from what I could see the other day when I was looking through the fence.

I didn't nail anything down until we could all look at the weather and our schedules. I should be able to play hooky from work about anyday.

Okay.

Talking to Jim today, he has business on Monday and I am going to be going to Edmond, OK on Wednesday for work it seems.

Looks like Tuesday March 10 is the target date for the junkyard.

Again, I am planning on taking my van or truck out to Red Springs from the Dallas area if anyone wants to ride.

This is contingent on weather conditions. Weather channel says thunderstorms Tuesday so I may have to pass this off to the rest of you guys for another day later in the week.

Hey it's Texas weather, anything can happen in three days time.

No need for a reason other than the journey.

You probably caught a break. It has looked like rain all day today and I never got more that a couple of drops.

Stomping around in wet weeds and mud just ain't cool anymore when I have the option to do it on a dry day later.

Of course snake season is coming up.
