I know its late, but better than never.

We had a total of:

52 people attend (includes family and 8 children)
23 were first time attendee's (8 bike pilots, 8 passengers, & 7 children)
6 were second time attendee's
11 were third time attendee's
3 were four time attendee's
1 was a five time attendee
3 were six time attendee's
3 were seven time attendee's

As you can see we do pretty good at first time attendee's, but we are struggling to get them back for subsequent events.  WE need to work on tapping out MOOT'sters on the shoulder to help keep them attending.

36 bikes
21 Magna's (4 vintage, 2 Super Magna's, & 15 3rd gen Magna's)
9 Valkyries
1 Goldwing
1 Drifter
1 R1
1 Rocket
1 Voyager
1 Pagsta

WE gave out SEVERAL door prizes including but not limited too:
8 different gift certificates worth from $50-$75, lots of bike gadgets, t-shirts, hats, first aid kits, tools, etc.

Attending members voted on best:
Vintage Magna - Tina Flynn's 1984 V-30
Super Magna - John Flynn's 1988 Super Magna
3rd Gen Magna - Jim Tindall's 1998 Magna
Non-Magna - Don Jacobs Goldwing
Best Overall - Greg Cothern's 1996 Magna
Longest distance travelled to attend was 837 miles by Troy St. Germain

You dont want to miss out on the next one!!!

If my employment status changes, I'd like to walk away with the Longest distance travelled at #8..

Just wondering...is it farther from Florida, or Michigan?  Cause ya just never know when a silver Beemer might show up unexpected like at one of these events, and surprise ya!

Everywhere is now in range!

Oops, I can tell it's been awhile since I posted on here.  The 2 signatures kind of gives it away.  Guess I better modify my old one to bring it up to date, and try to remember it goes on  automatically!

I guess it depends on where you are in Michigan and where you start from in Florida.
I know MM is not in Dallas, but I could not remember were it was.. , but I figure the mileage would be about the same addition from Dallas to MM from both MI & Fl.

Houghton Mi to Dallas 1,348 mi (One of the farthest points.)

Key West Fl to Dallas 1,517 mi

Clearwater, Fl to Dallas 1,173 mi (My area)

Hey... I'm no Candy A55, but I'm not an Iron Butt either.. ~500 miles a day is plenty for me...

If i'm doing a max of 300 miles on a Maggie you bet i'm checking in a nice room with a warm shower.
Now if I'm on a Valk or Goldwing 500-550 miles a day ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.
No IRON BUTT here either........That's why I think a motorcycle trailer is great. Load and Go. Ride when you get there...Easier to eat donuts too.... :) :) :-D :-D

If the numbers are right, which I think they are, then the award is yours for the taking.  It's a long ride for both of us, no matter which direction you're coming from.  I live in western Michigan, about 50 miles north of Grand Rapids, so my mileage would probably be around 1,100 miles. For me though, I might try to do an Iron Butt just to say I did it.  The BMW is made for that kind of stuff, although I'm not sure I am.  Gotta build up to that level.  Be fun to try, though.

57 MPH average is very respectable.. A little easier to do on the Valk than a small tanked Magna..

Yeah not bad considering the bike shut down on me in the rain the first time and it did it twice but once out of the rain no more problems think it was the vent hose since I did not have the T fitting in there so when water it clogged the line and shut the air off to the tank so no fuel once I would stop it would start back up !!!

I did make my MOOT members proud though   I did the Trail of Tears run while at Dads and when I left Florence,Al I had looked at the map no GPS for me and where my mind was I do not know but but I went West instead of East on 72 and did not figure out what was going on till I saw this sign that says WELCOME TO MISSISSIPPI       oops made a wrong turn somewhere

But since I am a MOOTster this is OK because we take the LONG WAY HOME     so I did a Uturn  also a MOOT tradition and rode back to Hazelgreen ,Al
