Terry analyzing his work with the plug tool sticking out of Jeffs tire.
In the background is the support Rocket supplying electricity for the pump and Maryellen enjoying the Rocket's heating unit (it was cold).

This photo shows the flat from a different angle while being pumped with air.

Terry's pet snake at the pit stop.

Sounds like an adventure which is always better than just a ride 8). As far as the snake, since it wasn't poisonous, had it bit Terry the snake would have surely died :D.

Look at that, insult a redneck and he'll make you eat those words every time!

What a surprise when I just about stepped on this, Bob tossed a stick on it and the snake, didn't move but he wouldn't pick it up either. Bob wanted to bring it back and throw it in Charles van.

If your talking about my van, go ahead, I'm only afraid of three kind of snakes,
big snakes, little snakes and sticks that look like snakes . And my wife would want to keep it, then it would become the kind of snake I do like DEAD ones ..

I have also run across the elusive "stick" snake and just about killed myself getting away

I like the part where you step on one end of a stick and the other end slaps you on the leg , that always good for a short sprint :D..

If  you grew up in rattlesnake country, you know they congregate in groups.  Jumping or running to get away may well cause you to step on one, in which case you are gonna get bit.  When you hear or see one, stand still, look where you intend to step, and move away slowly.  A good plan for any viper.

At least most Rattlesnakes are courteous enough to give you at least a little warning, unlike these nasty cotton mouths we got around here ..
