I am looking to put a larger windscreen on the magna for the winter,  I am looking at the plexistar 2 and the slipstreamer enterprise.  Has anyone used either of these?   Anyone selling a used one?  Thanks

BudMan

I have a large Slipstreamer on my V-65 and I love it.  I have a custom saddle that sets me lower in the frame and I am therefore looking through the shield.  The Slipstreamer is solid and gives no distortion what so ever, unlike the shield on my Valk that distorts at the top due to flex.
I have never checked my mileage with the shield off, but that big shield has GOT to be hurting my mileage; I'd just rather pay it than fight the wind.

I have a Memphis Shades Fats on my 2003 and is a godsend on trips, keeps the cold off when it does get cold(TX) but summer riding is a definite no-no with it on because you will burn up.

I bought a slipstreamer enterprise, it should be here tomorrow, after I get it put on I will post some pics!!

The only gotcha I found when I had a big slipstream on Lightning was those Texas Crosswinds can make it work like a sail.      Gotta say I miss it now that it's getting cold again

As expected there was a slight hiccup in the windshield fitment.  The screen fit great but those dastardly turn signals were in the way.  So, what to do?  Build a bracket and using the rear rubber stalks relocate them five inches farther forward!  i am about to set out on a long ride to see how well this thing works, check the pics and I'll report back upon my return.

I like the look of the forward turn signals.  Hope it works for you.  Nice bike!!

I wasn't really sure how that shield would look on a Magna. It looks good though IMO. I'll bet the wind protection is awesome with it. I'll parrot what the others have said, good job on the turn signals.

Rode about 75 miles today, hwy, back roads, you name it.  No buffeting, and there is zero wind on my hands.  The mounting is very stable with no vibration and even looking through it is clear.  Best 70 buck spent so far!!  Without all the wind noise the bike sounds completely different you can hear the intake, and the pipes, even the tire rolling!

The turn indicators look great. I like the look of the windshield and suspect it really is great on the hands during the winter. Problem for me is that I'd have it busted off in less than two weeks. Putting it in the truck, tailor, or garage, I'd smack one of those wings for sure.
I'd rather be outside than in.
