Throttle Grip

I am in the process of removal the entire throttle grip/kill switch assembly.  What is the "best" method to getting this off of the bare bar?  Disconnect the throttle cables up top or down below?

Look for the service manual in the Magna FAQ Section, heading MANUALS.

Disconnect the throttle cables down by the carbs.

I replaced the handlebar on my red Magna -- it came to me with stubby "T" (more like "pi") bars which I could barely reach -- not very comfortable, especially with forward controls!

After removing the brake lever and master cylinder, there was a hole in the bottom of the bar that aligns it.  I injected high pressure air there and the grips came right off -- like, way off!  You don't want to be standing where they can hit you.
