Hello, I'm new. actually old, but new here. my question is this, a few years ago I bought a v65 (84). excellent condition, and basically still is. Lately it has started to get increasingly difficult to shift. Usually from 1st to 2nd to 3rd. up or down. I usually end up double clutching. All this happens when it is cold.
after about 20 miles or so, all is fine. I run valvoline 10-40 motorcycle oil. I have also tried synthetic Mobile in it.have the drp oil mod on it also. I also have a v30 (85) in pretty much excellent condition also with around the same milage of 12500. the v30 has no shift problems at all. Anybody have any ideas. I have replaced the slave and rebuilt the master (twice) and all is bled out (mightyvac). I am now clueless. Thanks for any feed back. by the way I really like this site. lots of info. just didnt come across my year or problem.

Might be getting close to time for a clutch rebuild.....  Mileage is low but springs get soft with time too, as well as discs can age and wear faster.

If cylinder is working properly, bleed properly, etc etc etc, then you have discs and springs left..

Thanks Greg for the reply, I had thought that too, but with the low miles just wasnt quite sure. Thanks again.
