Watts the Magna Uses

The Magna produces 375 Watts total, than subtract from that what the bike uses to run and what's left over is what there is to play with.

I ended up taking Magna #2 which does not have the auxiliary lights, ran two 65 watt liners and two pairs of heated gloves, worked great with no problems.

A little more on this, below is literally a seat-of-the-pants analysis from today on the way to a Pie Run.

Running

110 watts of Aux. Lights
65 Watt Heated liner
22 Watts Heated Gloves
Headlight Modulator - not sure of the watts used, 2-10 watts maybe
Brake light modulator that uses the rear turn signals as running lights, unknown watts, could get close if watt usage is needed. 

My volt meter shows 14.0 with the above ON.

When I turn my heated gloves ON, volts drop to 12.8 and continue a downward spiral.

It looks like with the above turned on I have maxed out the available unused watts the bike has. When I turned on my gloves or my heated liner I turned off my 110 watts of AUX. lights and volts stayed in the 13.9-14.1 range.

Odd Footnote;
At one point when I had added my gloves to the above equation my volts dropped to 12.4 than jumped to 13.9 for some unusual reason, turning my lights off and back on, the volts started the drop from 12.9 downward.

If I kept my RPMs at 5000 or more I might be able to maintain 12.8-12.9 with my gloves ON but not my heated liner but as soon as your RPMs drop, you are loosing ground.

The above adds up to 197 watts without adding in my Headlight Modulator or Taillight Modulator or extra Rear Running Lights. 

My assessment, you have 200 watts to use and no more.
