*Recurring* Fork Leak

Okay, so a while back this summer Buddy hosted a small (okay, it was the two of us) Oklahoma Wrench Session.
The gig was this: a leaking left fork seal.  It'd been there for a good 40,000+miles or so.  We changed out the seals and all the bushings except the bronze 'Guide Bush' (the part name as listed on BikeBandit).

All was well for about 3,000 miles or so, and then on a road trip to a charity ride in Washington State, the same fork started leaking.
The other fork, is A-OK.

So last week I took everything on that fork back apart for inspection.  Nothing obvious that I could see, except a small nick in the front of the fork, which I'd guess was caused by something thrown up in the road.  It is located above the dust seal when the bike is loaded with me, passenger, and gear; however it is clearly in the 'stroke range' when hitting bumps in the road.  I did take a very light file, and green scrubby from the kitchen (don't tell my better half!), and knocked the nick down, but still I have a leak.

So... suggestions?  Do I need to go back after the Bronze bushing?  Or do I need to look elsewhere?  Ultimately I'm looking for suggestions and hoping I don't start chasing circles around this fork leak.  FWIW the first leak was a sudden start; the second time 'round, after a period of tranquility as mentioned above for about 3,000 miles, it started to leak suddenly again.

Thank you in advance for suggestions....

I had my fork seals "addressed" at a wrenching session at  Greg's house around the same time.  We replaced all of the bushings, including the guide bushings, along with installing progressive springs.  I noticed that the forks were leaking quickly afterwards, but didn't do anything about it after I discovered my rear tire was bad.

So either we did something wrong during the Seagoville wrenching session, or there's something wrong with the forks, or ???  My forks on this Magna have been bad since I bought it, so I guess I've just gotten used to ignoring the leak.

What bad can come out of the fork seals being broken?  I.E., should I get this fixed soon, or should I address it before riding too much further?

I just got a quote on labor to replace my fork seals of $150.00 from Swifty's Motorcycle in Fort Worth. That's if I just drop the bike off. He said considerably less if I just drop off the tubes. Price on seals from Honda are $66.01. (Honda place in Texarkana wanted $300 for the labor)
Sounds like a no brainer to me. I'll pull the tubes next time my son is home and let him haul them down there for me.
I'd rather be outside than in.

Well, Just ordered new bronze fork bushings.  These were the only things we *didn't* replace during the OK wrench session.  I will try this next... though I am in actuality more concerned it may be the scratch on the fork tube that I tried to clean up.  I am also considering methods to fill in the remainder of the very, very small divot that remains.

And, open to suggestions before I try 'ol JB Weld.
