Hey, yeah, Scott -- I second the invitation.

Rick and I have shared a room on a few occasions without hurting each other too bad...   If Rick agrees, we can do that again. 

Rick, is Crider's the place where we stayed with Jeff and Lowell last fall on the way to Ft. Davis?  I liked the cabin, and the location.  Quiet, river access.  Nice kitchen, etc.

Criders is the neighbor of Frio River Cabins where we stayed.  They are similar; the "house" at Criders is larger and a little nicer. If you can snag one of the downstairs bedrooms, it should protect you from snoring.  The upstairs bedroom has four twin beds and there is no room for anything else.

I wish I could commit now but I will be a May decision. Leaving May 12 to do a 7 to 9 day, 10 to 13 state ride (east).  I'll have to see how far behind I am in life (and job) after that ride before planning the next.

But I have a work conference that week as well, so I have not committed to any lodging just yet until I figure out how much of the conference I can skip. I also plan to bring a few people as guests, so the cabins at Criders got a little expensive for me considering their lowest was $200/night and I was probably going to pick up the whole tab for my friends. (I need to get some rich friends, huh?)

If you stay "off" the river lodging is generally cheaper. If anyone else is interested in some of the alternate locations let me know and I'll post up the information.

Yes, I will be driving down June 4th with the trailer. You can come along if you want. There will be others.

Thanks, Smoked!  I've made that trip solo last year but would definitely prefer some company.  Anyone else riding down (versus trailering) from the DFW area?  I'm in Grapevine.

Dave, if there is room at the Inn, count me in.  Wife and daughter going to see George Strait at JerryWorld the Sat. night we will be gone.  I really like King George, but negotiating 100,000 people is not for me.

Please let me know if you have room for me and where to send $$ to hold a spot.
